Alfama on a Food Walk

Eat like the locals do during a gourmet walking experience. We'll learn about Portuguese cuisine as we stroll down winding alleys to find unique places full of culinary treasures. We'll taste Portuguese wines, charcuterie, sardines, and typical pastries along with regional dishes from the land and sea. Together with neighborhood restaurant owners, we’ll learn how to sample a local liquor or how to savor the traditional "chouriço assado" (typical grilled Portuguese sausage).

  • 14 Tastings (100% typical! I'll give you a lot of information about the Portuguese traditions regarding cooking and the food itself) Drinks (You'll taste many drinks such as local wines & liquors (18+)
  • If you don't drink alcohol, it's ok but let me know in advance)
  • Guided Visit of Alfama (As we will walk by some interesting things in the district of Alfama, I will give you nice explanations about the area)
