I found this magic spot completely by chance as it is off the regular tourist radar. An astonishing view point, locally named as Miradouro do Santo Amaro hidden in the heart of Alcantara, one of Lisbon’s traditional neighborhoods. It has an exclusive scene on the Tagus river and the 25 of April bridge.
An amazing sunset, a 16th century chapel & old olive trees make the perfect scenery to enjoy this fully-outdoor 2.5 hours gastronomical experience which will make you taste & travel Portugal from north to south & from coast to land.
I made a selection of unique traditional Portuguese “Petiscos” (tapas), including a great selection of local cheeses, traditional sausages, seafood and more, each with great stories to tell. It will be paired with 4 of the most traditional Portuguese wines. Being myself a wine professional, I will take you through a full wine tasting experience. Additional tasty surprises will also join the show so be ready for a full Portuguese tradition's inner experience!
